Lincoln - 11 months

One more month before this little guy turns one!!  Let the party planning begin J.  Here are some fun updates for Lincoln at 11 months.

He LOVES the vacuum!!  None of my other kids have been into this but he knows exactly where it is kept and crawls over to the closet all the time and points and wines until you get it out.  Then he laughs and smiles like crazy when you hold him and vacuum the house.  We have a little toy vacuum that he likes to play with as well but not as much as the real thing. 

Lincoln loves climbing on everything and into small tight spaces.  He’s not very interested in walking right now but pulls up on everything and will cruise around on furniture and loves climbing up stairs when he gets the chance. 

 He loves being outside and exploring everything around him.  Playing with balls, playing in the grass, tasting everything in his mouth, going on walks, trying to climb up the slides and doing everything his brothers are doing.

He loves real food.  Some of his favorites are toast, blueberries, peas and lasagna.  We’re also starting to slowly transition him over to whole milk and so far that’s gone really well.  The only struggle is getting him to hold and tip his own cup but we did find that he can now drink out of a straw cup.

Lincoln got his top two teeth so now he has 4 teeth total.  He talks all the time.  Mostly in his own little language but can understand pretty much everything we say and will point at whatever he wants.  He’s such a silly boy and loves making all sorts of noises with his mouth and has the cutest belly laugh.  I just love it! 

This next month should be busy and full of changes.  Lincoln will be transitioning to daycare and Gavin will be heading off to kindergarten.  I can’t believe how fast these boys are growing up!
