2 Months!

We had our 2 month check up for Wyatt this morning and he is a growing boy! He was 13 lbs 12 ozs and 24 1/4 inches long, both 90%. He is definitely catching up to his brother who was just a little bigger at this point. He's in good health and did really well with his first round of shots. The poor little guy is still dealing with gas issues and i had attempted to limit my dairy before to see if that would help but found that I eat a lot of dairy! After talking to the doctor she said to definitely try eliminating milk since lots of babies have an intolerance to lactose and that it wouldn't hurt to remove all dairy for awhile to see if it helps and then slowly bring it back. Although i love and will definitely miss my milk, cheese and yogurt i think at this point i would much rather get some sleep and have a happier baby plus it will probably help me drop the rest of this pregnancy weight faster since I won't be chowing down on pizza and Sheridans custard :). Overall we are doing well and adjusting nicely to being a family of four. We've enjoyed a few really nice days here lately and are ready for Spring to be here for good. These past two months have flown by and it's hard to believe i will be going back to work soon! Here are a few favorite pictures of Wyatt over the month and you can check out more in the Feb 2011 album in the Picasa link.

Gavin

I had to add a few cute pictures of Gavin that we took the other night. It is so rare that he will actually stop, smile and take a picture.

We are also on night two with no pacifier!! Each night when he asks for his pacifier we've been reminding him that they are really for babies and that he's a big boy. Our plan was to go cold turkey with him in about a month if he didn't give it up on his own but he decided Tuesday morning after he woke up that he wanted to throw them away. We quickly got them out of the trash just in case but thought this was our chance. That night he desperately wanted them back and even tried to dig through the trash but after some convincing and bribes for a special treat in the morning he went to bed without them and successfully slept last night without one too. Hopefully we can keep this up and it will be gone for good!

Our Nephew is here!

Jen and Jason welcomed Rush Charles this morning. He was 7 pounds 7 ounces. We can't wait to meet him this weekend!!
