15 months

Gavin has been quite the busy boy and we have been enjoying the nice warm weather. We try to go on a wagon ride around the block each night and last weekend took our first trip to the park. Gavin loved walking all around the playground and going down the slides. This weekend we headed up to Iowa to see Ryan’s parents and Derek, Jenny, Will and Addy. We had a great time. On Saturday we headed up to Ames to see the VEISHA parade and today the kids played together at another park. Gavin got his first taste of sand and apparently it didn’t bother him too much since he tried to put it in his mouth 3 times. We had his 15 month check up on Friday and he was 90% in both weight and height (27lbs 10ozs and 32 ½ inches tall). He has eight teeth and is in the process of getting all four of his molars. It was pretty hairy at first but once we finally figured out what was going on and he got a little Motrin they haven’t seemed to bother him too much since. He still talks all the time and does a really good job of trying to repeat most of the words you tell him and understands so much now. His new thing that he’s started lately is to say yeah when you ask him any question which is so cute. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. Hope everyone had a nice Easter! We had a great time in Osceola with family. Gavin loved the easter egg hunt and had so much fun playing with Avrie.
