Happy 6th Birthday Wyatt

This kid has been counting down the days until his birthday!! I'm sure it doesn't help that his big brother has one right before him and of course he wanted to do everything that Gavin did to celebrate his big day :).  So we had dinner at Noodles after school and then opened presents and had ice cream sundae's for dessert.

For Wyatt's birthday he really wanted to go ice skating.  We've never been before and our neighbor has a little rink in his backyard so they've seen him skating alot and peeked his interest.  So we got a sitter for the littles and headed to the skating rink with Gavin and Wyatt.  Well it was pretty much a disaster.  We lasted about 5 minutes and then decided we would go bowling instead lol.  It looks like roller skating and ice skating are just not in our future :).

The boys had a blast bowling and eating yummy snacks and Wyatt loved his special day.

I just can't believe we have a 6 year old.  He is really growing up and is such a little sweetheart!  Here are the answers to his 20 questions:

Joint bday party

We had a joint b-day party for the boys with family on the 14th.  They had so much fun and it was great to see everyone.  The perfect laid back evening :).

Happy 8th birthday Gavin!

Seriously I can not believe that we have an 8 year old!!! This kid needs to stop growing so fast :).

Gavin lucked out and had no school on his birthday so we got to start the day off with a fun breakfast donut and Dunkin Donuts.  He choose Noodles for his birthday dinner so we met dad there and then had yummy ice cream sandwiches and presents at home afterwards.

Gavin also had a small informal birthday party with a few friends the following weekend where they hung out at the arcade for a few hours and then played at our house and made ice cream sundaes.  They had so much fun and honestly that's the way to throw a party.. so low key and easy.  He said it was the best day ever and wants to do it again next year!!
