Lincoln - 10 months

 

It’s so hard to believe that Lincoln will be one in 2 months!  This past year has just flown by.   Some of the fun things he’s doing at 10 months:

We’ve made huge progress in the sleeping department.  He’s still not sleeping through the night but sleeps all night in his crib in his room.  He still cries a little when we put him in his bed at the beginning of the night but will eventually get settled and put himself to sleep. He was just getting up once to eat and then would go right back to sleep but lately he’s getting up twice but will eat and go right back to sleep so I’m wondering if maybe he’s going through a growth spurt or something.  Hopefully we can get over this and start working on naps over the next month before we transition him to the boys school.

 He loves eating real food and has tried all sorts of things.  We haven’t really found anything that he doesn’t like yet either.  So far he really loves peas, cottage cheese and toast and is getting better with drinking out of a cup.  He still has just his two bottom teeth but i think he's working on some more.

He is crawling all over the place and loves exploring every little thing around him.  He loves climbing stairs and beelines towards them and the dog’s food as quickly as he can.  He’s also really into balls and loves trying to bounce them and roll them around.

Lincoln talks all the time and is really starting to communicate what he wants to us as well.  He loves being outside and playing downstairs so he will crawl over to those doors and start hitting the door or waving his arms and showing us he wants to go downstairs or outside. 

He also loves water.  Lincoln gets so excited anytime we even walk into the bathroom because he thinks he’s going to get a bath and has loved the two times he's spent our pool so far this summer.  He is definitely a water baby!

Most of all he LOVES his brothers and just lights up anytime they are around.
