Ainsley turned 5 months old on Saturday and she is one busy
girl. She can roll over both ways although
she prefers to just scooch across the floor on her back. She loves bath time and just discovered that
she can kick her legs and splash in the water.
She’s very into toys and will sit under her play mat and grab at toys very
contently by herself. She loves to be
held and in on all the action watching what everyone is doing around her and
will grab anything in her reach. I was
holding her one time while eating dinner and in a matter of seconds she grabbed
my plate and almost tossed it on the ground J. It’s been interesting teaching Lincoln that
she’s not purposely trying to grab or hit him but more learning how to use her
hands and control her arms when they are near each other but overall he’s been really
good with her.
She loves her brothers so
much and they can get her to laugh all the time. Much more than Ryan or I. She’s still our content, happy little
baby. This month sleep was a little
rough and I’m preparing myself for a rough next month as we transition out of
the swaddle and move her into her room but hopefully once that’s done she’ll
get back to sleeping like she used to.
Time is just going too fast and we love every minute we get
to spend with her.
