Happy Valentine's weekend everyone! Enjoy the new pictures. Gavin is growing like crazy and so close to walking! He just goes a mile a minute and has no fear. Most of the time he thinks he can walk so he just pulls up on something an takes off and takes a few steps and then crashes since he doesn't have much balance yet. He started daycare at the beginning of this month. The first week was a little rough and quite an adjustment but last week went really well and he really likes playing with all the little kids and we can alreay tell that he is learning alot. He's still talking a ton. Some of his new favorite words are nana(banana), cracker and milk (see a pattern here, he still loves to eat lol!)

Birthday party weekend!

Gavin had such a great time at his party on Saturday! He loved his cake and did a great job opening all of his presents. It was so great to see all of our friends and family. We had his check up on Friday and he is doing great. His weight was 26 lbs 2 ozs. and he was 31 1/4 inches tall which are both in the 90th percentile. The dr. was very impressed with how much he was talking. He's still not walking but is pulling up on everything and his balance is getting better every day. He's very close and i'm sure he will be walking in the next month or two. Right now we are working on transitioning from formula and the bottle to milk and next week he will have two trial days at day care and then will start there full time Feb. 1st so lots of changes coming. Were hoping he will adjust well!! Enjoy the pictures from Gavin's birthday. He is such a big boy now!!

Happy First Birthday Gavin!

Yesterday Gavin turned one!! What an amazing year for us! Hard to believe he is already that old but we look forward to all the joys to come. Yesterday we celebrated with some presents from mom and dad and some cake. His first taste of a real sweet and he loved it! We have his check up tomorrow and then his party with friends and family on Saturday so I will post more pictures after that. We look forward to seeing everyone!

11 Months!

We officially have a crawler! Gavin finally started crawling a few weeks ago. He mostly army crawls at this point but is getting very fast especially if he is after something he really wants. It’s so funny because we tried forever to find something that he would want bad enough that he would actually push himself to crawl forwards and finally it ended up being the dog’s toys that he went after! It still makes me laugh that out of all his toys he just wants to play with the dogs and still races after them today. We ended up buying him a stocking full of new dog toys for him to play with to try and prevent him from putting the real ones in his mouth although it still happens :). Gavin is quite the talker these days and will say mama, dad, dog (although it sounds like gog), diaper, car and will sometimes say all done. He also still loves eating especially ‘real’ food and just says yum, yum, yum while shoving handfuls of it in his mouth. Enjoy the new pictures. Hope everyone has a great holiday.
