12 weeks

We had a dr’s appt. today with some special screenings and I had my third ultrasound. This was the second time that Ryan got to see the baby and it was really cool because it looks much more like a baby now. We got to see its little hands and feet and see it moving around. We also got to hear the heartbeat which was strong at 153 bpm. We are not planning on finding out the sex but Ryan has been convinced from the beginning that it’s a boy however now he’s rethinking. We went out to eat at a Japanese restaurant the other day and got fortune cookies at the end of our meal. Each fortune had a Japanese word on the back and mine was ‘Our’ and Ryan’s was ‘Daughter’ so we’re wondering if they're trying to

tell us something. I guess we’ll see!

We're havin a baby!

That’s right, Ryan and I are expecting! I’m due January 11th and we are both very excited! Since we don’t get to see all of you as often as we would like we wanted to create a blog to capture our experiences through our first pregnancy that you all could follow along with. We will post regular updates and pictures so check back often.
