She was pretty funny with the cake. She didn't really know what to do with it at first. Gavin tried to show her and then we gave her a spoon and she ate really nicely that way for a little bit. I finally cut a piece out so she could get to the cake and then after a bit she finally decided to dig in and put her face in it lol. Best part about the party, she slept all night for almost 12 hours straight her first time ever. This girl knows how to party :).

Ainsley's first birthday party
We had so much fun celebrating Ainsley's b-day with family yesterday. She was in such a good mood all evening and loved opening all her presents. She gave her new baby doll lots of kisses and loved playing with her new clothes and hugging her puppy.

Happy First Birthday Ainsley!
I swear i blinked an eye and this sweet little girl turned one. She is on the move and walking everywhere and loves to climb and get into everything :). She can say dada and hi and loves baby dolls and animals especially dogs.
Ainsley is such a sweet little girl and laughs all the time. Especially at her brothers. She loves to be outside riding the stroller, swinging or just exploring. She loves water and always tries to just stick her whole face in it.
She's a pretty good eater and finally has 2 teeth! Not super interested in milk yet but loves drinking water out of a sippy cup.
We celebrated her birthday at home on her actual day and gave her a little cheesecake. I think she liked it but enjoyed squishing it in her fingers and playing with it even more. We have her doctors appointment tomorrow so i'll update once i have all her stats.
Ainsley did awesome during her check-up. She didn't even cry during her finger prick. She was more disturbed about the bandaid they put on her finger lol. Gavin and Wyatt couldn't believe it saying wow she's really brave since they still start bawling anytime they think about getting another finger prick. Below are her stats:
Height - 29.5 inches (61%), Weight - 20 lbs (31%)

Water fun and Farmer's Market
We broke out the pool for the first time last weekend and the kids had a blast. Even Ainsley loved the water play.
On a whim we headed to the farmer's market for this first time in a few years this Saturday. I forgot how fun that place is. The kids had a great time seeing Cubbie and getting balloon animals/swords. Ainsley loved seeing all the doggies.
Gavin - Last day of 1st Grade
Seriously i just blinked an eye and another year has flown by. I'm really sad to see this year end. Gavin had such an amazing teacher and just overall had such a great year. He really enjoys school and I know he was a little sad to see the year end as well but they sure had a fun last week of school that ended with bouncy houses at school and a fun party at the neighbors with snow cones.
I just can't believe how much he's grown and changed just within this year!

Wyatt - Preschool graduation!
Wyatt is official done with preschool and ready for kindergarten :). We had his preschool graduation a few weeks ago and he has been practicing his songs for months at home which were the cutest (One Small Voice, He's got the Whole World in his Hand, Joy to the World, Fifty States, World is a Rainbow and Finely the Firefly). We've had a bit of anxiety from him lately that started with his first baseball practice and so when we got to his graduation night he kind of freaked out and wouldn't go up on stage with the huge group of kids but honestly i think he ended up having a better time because he sat in the audience with us but still sang his little heart out along with all the other kids.
I just can't get over how grown up his looks in these pictures. I'm really hoping we can get over this anxiety this summer in preparation for the first day of kindergarten. He's excited to go to Gavin's school and be a big kid but definitely nervous about all the changes and that fact that he doesn't really know anyone that will be going to his school so the first few days may be a little rough.
