Monday we took the kids for a walk around copper creek park and Ryan taught them the art of skipping rocks :). The rest of the day we just kind of hung out at home and relaxed.

Labor Day weekend
Labor Day weekend we had Avrie and Kruz come spend the night (Rush was sick) and the kids had a blast together. We headed to the park in the morning to catch frogs and minnows, did some water play in the afternoon, visited the ice cream parlor and then rode bikes/played ball and watched the ISU game.

Iowa Cubs game
The weekend after school started I took the kids to the I-Cubs game. My mom threw out the first pitch and we had a fun picnic beforehand. Ryan was out of town for work but thankfully all the kids were really good and had a lot of fun.
Back to School 2017
We had open house night Monday August 21st and then Gavin and Wyatt had their first day back to school on the 23rd. Both were really excited and had a great first day.
Lincoln and Ainsley both had their first days of school this week (sept 6 & 7) Ainsley is going one day a week in the morning and Lincoln will be going 3 days a week. Both were a little nervous but did great and had a fun morning.
Happy 4th Birthday Lincoln
We had such a fun weekend celebrating Lincoln's birthday! I just can't believe my baby boy is 4. He needs to stop growing and stay this age forever! On Sunday he wanted to go to pizza ranch for his birthday and then he opened gifts from us at home.
This kid he is just the sweetest little thing telling me all the time I just love you so much but he can also have quite the attitude :) and tries so hard to keep up with the big kids. Poor thing gets so upset when he can never win (especially with Wyatt since they are so competitive) but i just tell him it's going to make him that much better and faster when he gets older.
He loves legos and I just can't get over how creative he is with building his own ships using the big kid legos and how good he is already at following maps and creating things right along side his brothers. He also loves bugs and just being outdoors in general.
He's still our little peanut but did grow 3 inches over that last year. Stats: Height - 40 in (44%), Weight - 34 lbs (33%)
